In January 2005 we did this interview with television presenter Fiona Armstrong. Fiona is a broadcaster and writer whose current work includes producing and presenting a television series on rivers and through her own production company she has produced family history programmes for ITV. She is also a news and features presenter who often presents and produces fishing programmes for ITV and Sky television all over the world including the 'Tight Lines' programme. Fiona has also presented on 'GMTV' and 'ITN' main news bulletins. Fiona has written for newspapers and magazines including 'The Sunday Times' and 'Trout and Salmon' magazine. Her past work includes fronting award winning cooking projects for Carlton Food Network series- 'Easy as Pie.' She has also presented lifestyle and business programmes -'Executive Lifestyles' and 'Under the Hammer.' Fiona has written two fishing books- 'F is for fly fishing' and 'Lets Start Fishing,' also two cookery books- 'The Commuters Cookbook' and 'Big Food for Wee Macs.' As well as all of this Fiona has also done lots of charity and voluntary work including being a chairperson for the 'Clan Armstrong Trust.'
